Ingredients:
✅ 1 liter of whole milk
✅ 8 large eggs
✅ 1 cup of sugar
✅ 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
✅ 1/2 cup of powdered sugar for sprinkling
✅ 1/2 cup of water
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Gradually pour in the milk while continuing to whisk the mixture.
4. In a saucepan, dissolve the remaining sugar in water over medium heat until it turns into a caramel.
5. Pour the caramel into a rectangular ceramic dish, ensuring it covers the entire bottom of the dish.
6. Pour the custard mixture over the caramel in the dish.
7. Place the dish into a larger baking dish and fill the larger dish with boiling water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the custard dish.
